Have to Watch Ice Age 1 and 2
I Will Not Shop in 2H2009
I went through my wardrobe today. I have X amount of new-unworn-with-label-still-attached-clothes!
I have so many outfits that my wardrobe is stuffed and so is my smaller cabinet.
I need to find the time to sort my clothes and throw away:
- clothes that I have not worn in two years
- clothes that I'm keeping aside in hopes that I'll loose weight. I won't squeeze into that ultra tight Lycra spaghetti strap top and when I can, I'll get new trendier ones!
- clothes that I love, but aren't me anymore.
- clothes that I've loyally worn so many times tht they are falling apart.
I will not shop when stressed.
I will not buy cute inexpensive outfits because they are just so worth it.
I will not walk into boutiques, retail stores, etc.
I will refrain and abstain frm purchasing new clothes, unless they fall into:
- undergarments. Must la. If I no more panties where can? Takan walk around in holeys!
- sports attire. I hv a shortage of gym clothes. Elaine always laughs at my uncool aunty outfits!
I really hope to keep to my resolution. Dear family and friends... PLEASE STOP ME FROM ***SHOPPING!
Do not ask me to accompany you for sales (food products, ok).
Do not tell me of a new boutique.
Do not allow me to walk into shops and start touching clothes.
Thanks from the bottom of my heart (and bank balance) for the support. Addicts need support or relapse is bound to happen!
*** One clause: catfightsandlimelights.blogspot.com Lin's baby is the exception! Love her stuff n I need a bit of leeway from going into insanity okay!

Lashes Back to Normal
But I enjoyed the extra drama and volume my exts gave me. It was incredibly time saving not to put mascara in the mornings, but it took a bit longer to remove eye makeup at night. It was just so easy to slap on foundation, blusher and go out looking like you spent ages doing your lashes.
Conclusion: I would do it again, for special occasions or if I want a pick me up pampering treat. I loved the effect of having wow lashes. However lash exts aren't for everyone. You need patience, care and extreme vanity to enjoy it!!!!

My One Night and Half a Day with Ing
During my trip over to SG, I spent one night and half a day with bestie Sheau Ing. T'was too short and I will go down soon, when I have more $$$ or if she sponsors me. AHAHHAHAHA!

On the first morning, I woke up to discover a handwritten note by housekeeping. It read:
Dear Guest,
Good Morning,
May I clean your room? :)
From,
Housekeeping
A bit surprised with the note. But, I didn't think much about it until I saw that housekeeping was actually a young Chinese guy. Later that night I could not find my hair tie and clips. He must've thought that it was junk and threw them away! :( MEN! At least my bra and panties are still there! HAHAHA! Ok, random.
Breakfast at the Amara Shopping Arcade. A good filling breakfast for a long day ahead!

At the Chan Sisters' Loft

After Arab Street, we took a cab to Bugis! One of the few places in SG, that I can afford to shop at!
Got myself like the coolest baby tee evar! Good girls go to heaven, bad girls go EVERYWHERE! You sluts! Oh, the picture next to the tee... I did not buy that many bottles of Corona. It was decor at Ma Maison.

Heard a lot about this place from Vic's sister Carol and I've been dying to try it... but Vic is dead against fusion food of any sort. Ma Maison is an eclectic blend of Japanese and French. Nothing bad with that as the food rocked.

With and without flash. Deep fried Camembert with honey dip.

The brown sauce that Ing is playing with is for my Pork Cutlet and the orange/yellow thing in the bottle is PUS. Yes, so gross. (It is actually salad dressing with a tinge of wasabi)

Yumz

Ing's healthy choice of fish. Sigh. I must convert her into a pork lover. This fish lovin has to stop.
OMG OMG OMG

How Do I Manage Stress?

Sigh. I love you Hoegaarden. Deep deep.
Weekend, Please Stay!
You are such a cruel tease!
You tempt me on Fri morning, flirt with me on Saturday and leave me short of satisfaction on Sunday. Now, I have no choice but to fantasize and long for you the whole week.
Gaaahhhh!

Dad's reply:
Mom's turn:Gun too big? For staring at us? Who on earth would've thought of such a retort?
Singapore for Work and a Wee Bit of Fun!!!
Jean, Sook Ting and myself went down to Singapore for a three day in-house symposium. It was a good experience and I had the chance to meet and hangout with my colleagues from Singapore, India and Hong Kong.
The girls from Malaysia.Jean. Sook Ting. Moi.
THIS IS MY BLOG, SO I WILL PUT AS MANY PICTURES OF ME THAT I LIKE! NEH! NEH! NEH! (sorry to shout)
iPhone sitting pretty on the table.
Breakfast at TCC. A tab bit expensive, but it was a good hearty breakfast...exactly what we needed to fuel us on for the rest of the day and it was surely a loooong day!

I love the location of the SG office. It is so central, right opposite the Raffles MRT stop.

Lunch with the boss at Asian Kitchen. The food is similar that of Dragon-i.

Pork is a way of life!

The city is beautiful at night.

Company dinner & drinks at the The Coffee Club.
Steph, Me and Dhana. Fun girls!

Drinks at Harry's. Jean got too happy and threw three fries at JP. It was good night sitting by Boat Quay and watching the pretty lights. Although the waiter at Harry's was rather cheesed when he saw that we had packed fries from McDees. Hey, it's not our fault that your kitchen closes at 11!

We couldn't stay up too long because Friday was a full day symposium!
One thing that I love about Singapore is that it is so easy to flag a cab and go places. Public transportation in Singapore, rocks. The cabbies are actually rather polite! So far, the uncles that I've met say 'Please' and 'Thank you'! Amazing. Even the uncles working at the taxi stand at Changi Airport are friendly and caring.
The next day: Lunch!
Angela's Sashimi Don, which did NOT COME with vinegar rice! Oh the horrors! But it does make a pretty picture doesn't it? :)

A day full of talk, talk and talk... let's fast forward to... DINNER! We headed to Paulaner Brauhaus in Millenia Walk. And boy, it was a long walk to dinner from the City Hall MRT stop! Singaporeans sure have the stamina and endurance to walk! I need to develop more leg muscles.

The staff at Paulaner Brauhaus weren't the most welcoming. First, they got our order wrongly and tried to play the old game of 'Oh, didn't you order this dish?'. Then, when the bill came, they tried to make us pay for their mistake. Next, some rude waiter tells us that we have what...15 minutes to guzzle down our beers and leave the place because they were closing. How bloody rude! Sigh!
Will the management of Paulaner Brauhaus please take note and buck up!!!

Someone said that Nick's head resembles a rambutan. I don't think so!

Group Picture!

And my fave babe in Singapore joined for post-dinner drinks! Ms Chan Sheau Ing!

The bus was pink. I had to take a picture. I was not drunk.
We finished the night with a KTV session. Mad tired, but so happy. I've never allowed to many people to experience by tone-deafness before and they are still talking to me after it. I guess, either it wasn't so bad or they take pity upon me. :(

I wanna go Singapore for more Yami Yogurt! It is similar to Yogur Berry, but somehow... it's more fun there because the stall is just so nearby office. I wish we had something similar to that in Pavilion! I will be one satisfied girl.
Random Thoughts Tonight III
2. My underwear drawer won't allow itself to be stuffed and shut. It's overpouring with precious bits of material that protect my modesty. Not saying that I have a lot of undies, but it's just high time I threw away the holey ones. What a pity... they were just starting to get airy and comfy.
3. I love reading Xiaxue's blog. Bimbo or not, she's a damn good blogger and great in self marketing. Her lastest post was filled with delicious drama.
4. I'm amazed by how Lin keeps her room so tidy. I must ask for her secret tomorrow.
5. Men are so impatient. Well, at least two men that I know anyway.
6. Since the family is moving house, I hope we get a maid too. :P High hopes, but it would really make life easier for us all. I just want someone to prepare food for me. And clean my room. And do my laundry. And wash my car. And clean the guinea cage.
7. My fave style of having crab is salted egg. I just love the taste and can't imagine any other crab combo tasting quite as orgasmatic. Ham Tan Hai rocks. Lick that salty hai! Oh, baby!
8. If anyone asks me in person, for my age... I have the perfect reply. It's a mix of sarcasm and funny. A few friends have heard it and I'm not repeating it here. Ask me when you see me. Because you have to see me to get the joke.
