Jean, Sook Ting and myself went down to Singapore for a three day in-house symposium. It was a good experience and I had the chance to meet and hangout with my colleagues from Singapore, India and Hong Kong.
The girls from Malaysia.Jean. Sook Ting. Moi.
THIS IS MY BLOG, SO I WILL PUT AS MANY PICTURES OF ME THAT I LIKE! NEH! NEH! NEH! (sorry to shout)
iPhone sitting pretty on the table.
Breakfast at TCC. A tab bit expensive, but it was a good hearty breakfast...exactly what we needed to fuel us on for the rest of the day and it was surely a loooong day!

I love the location of the SG office. It is so central, right opposite the Raffles MRT stop.

Lunch with the boss at Asian Kitchen. The food is similar that of Dragon-i.

Pork is a way of life!

The city is beautiful at night.

Company dinner & drinks at the The Coffee Club.
Steph, Me and Dhana. Fun girls!

Drinks at Harry's. Jean got too happy and threw three fries at JP. It was good night sitting by Boat Quay and watching the pretty lights. Although the waiter at Harry's was rather cheesed when he saw that we had packed fries from McDees. Hey, it's not our fault that your kitchen closes at 11!

We couldn't stay up too long because Friday was a full day symposium!
One thing that I love about Singapore is that it is so easy to flag a cab and go places. Public transportation in Singapore, rocks. The cabbies are actually rather polite! So far, the uncles that I've met say 'Please' and 'Thank you'! Amazing. Even the uncles working at the taxi stand at Changi Airport are friendly and caring.
The next day: Lunch!
Angela's Sashimi Don, which did NOT COME with vinegar rice! Oh the horrors! But it does make a pretty picture doesn't it? :)

A day full of talk, talk and talk... let's fast forward to... DINNER! We headed to Paulaner Brauhaus in Millenia Walk. And boy, it was a long walk to dinner from the City Hall MRT stop! Singaporeans sure have the stamina and endurance to walk! I need to develop more leg muscles.

The staff at Paulaner Brauhaus weren't the most welcoming. First, they got our order wrongly and tried to play the old game of 'Oh, didn't you order this dish?'. Then, when the bill came, they tried to make us pay for their mistake. Next, some rude waiter tells us that we have what...15 minutes to guzzle down our beers and leave the place because they were closing. How bloody rude! Sigh!
Will the management of Paulaner Brauhaus please take note and buck up!!!

Someone said that Nick's head resembles a rambutan. I don't think so!

Group Picture!

And my fave babe in Singapore joined for post-dinner drinks! Ms Chan Sheau Ing!

The bus was pink. I had to take a picture. I was not drunk.
We finished the night with a KTV session. Mad tired, but so happy. I've never allowed to many people to experience by tone-deafness before and they are still talking to me after it. I guess, either it wasn't so bad or they take pity upon me. :(

I wanna go Singapore for more Yami Yogurt! It is similar to Yogur Berry, but somehow... it's more fun there because the stall is just so nearby office. I wish we had something similar to that in Pavilion! I will be one satisfied girl.
